Nir has over 20 years of expertise in the infrastructure and energy sectors, having facilitated transactions totaling billions of NIS. His extensive track record includes structuring of tenders and advising tender committees (State, the Ministry of Infrastructure, and various State owned entities).
A specialist in capital structure and debt advisory, Nir has successfully led complex financial closings involving senior, mezzanine, and subordinate debt. His technical proficiency encompasses advanced financial modeling, complex valuations, investment banking services, and the provision of high-level expert opinions.
In recent years, Nir has managed Israel’s most prominent infrastructure and energy transactions, ranging from large-scale debt raises to the strategic divestiture of projects and companies within the sector.
Prior to his current position, Nir served as an advisor to the Accountant General on the financing and development of national infrastructure projects. His professional background also includes tenures as a senior executive in a leading investment banking firm and as a project manager within a consulting company.
Nir holds an MBA and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Bar-Ilan University.
