Transportation
Leading change and growth in the transportation sector
We design and manage large-scale strategic transportation projects that drive national growth and connectivity.
Our team combines engineering expertise, economic insight, and systemic thinking to create efficient, innovative, and sustainable mobility solutions.
We work with public authorities, infrastructure companies, and private developers throughout all project phases — from planning and financing to implementation and operation — integrating advanced technologies and data-driven decision-making.
Our experience spans national road networks, public transport systems, and urban mobility projects, as well as the development of strategies for green growth and smart transportation.
Our mission is to deliver smarter, more connected, and sustainable transportation systems that improve quality of life and strengthen economic resilience.
We conducted a comprehensive analysis of travel speeds around the Sea of Galilee, combining qualitative and quantitative research across key transportation and tourism sites. The project included interviews with national and local officials, business stakeholders, and mobility and tourism experts. An international benchmark of best practices and innovative models informed actionable recommendations for integrating transportation technologies with tourism to enhance regional mobility and visitor experience.
A first-of-its-kind and unique demand management project in the transportation field . The project involves an experiment in which 15,000 volunteers which were recruited receive various financial incentives to change their travel habits and reduce travel in congestion. The company manages the project, carries out supervision and control activities, and accompanies the research activities for several years. As part of this, the company successfully led the first phase of the project, which led to excellent results that were published to the public, and is currently accompanying its second phase.
We identified new growth opportunities for Trans Israel through a review of international transportation projects and an in-depth assessment of the company’s capabilities. We facilitated managers’ workshops and focused working sessions with senior leadership to prioritize the most promising growth engines. Subsequently, we supported internal teams in developing action plans and implementing selected initiatives.
A comprehensive project to improve the payment process for suppliers at Israel Railways, in which work processes in the railway divisions were examined and compared to work processes in similar organizations in order to map the current situation, identify gaps and issues to address. We also formulated recommendations for change, updating procedures, defining SLA, implementing new processes, business characterization for technological systems and their adaptation. The project is led by us, including implementing the changes, conducting training for managers, information, control and implementation processes.
A BOT project in the field of transportation, in which the concessionaire has been involved in the planning and execution of the project for the past month, from the stage of winning the tender to financial closure and the start of construction of the line. The general support includes building a customized financial model, analyzing economic viability, formulating a risk matrix, and commercial and banking support. In addition, we are assisted in writing and submitting proposals, managing the negotiation processes, and achieving financial closure that ensured the success of the project.
We accompanied the project, starting from its initiation stages. As part of the project management, we accompanied the legislative process, the initiation, the tender process, and now also the implementation stages of the project. In this framework, we managed the tender process to select a concessionaire who will construct approximately 200 toll gates in approximately 15 local authorities, which will be used to identify vehicles entering the Gush Dan metropolis and collect a congestion fee from each of them in accordance with the rates set in the legislation. We also promoted projects to measure speed in the metropolis, place accompanying signage, and more.
As part of the project, we helped promote smart transportation policies by implementing innovative technologies in peripheral local authorities. As part of project, we conducted parallel processes to select relevant local authorities and relevant startup companies that will collaborate in implementing smart transportation solutions in the authorities.
Project for the planning, development, and maintenance of a transportation management system for the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. The project included comprehensive market reviews of existing information systems and potential bidders, alongside support in drafting legal agreements. We provided data-driven recommendations, conducted benchmarking against similar projects, prepared tender documents, and closely supervised the project throughout the development and implementation phases.
The project framework The company accompanies Israel Railways in formulating a strategy for the business development of the railway complexes in a way that will allow their integration with office, commercial and even residential buildings.
In this framework, alternatives are being examined for marketing the projects to relevant entrepreneurs by submitting innovative tenders that will maximize the economic potential of the railway areas while maintaining the railway’s independence and improving service to users.
The Carmel Tunnels project is considered by many to be the first PPP project to be promoted in Israel. We have been accompanying the project for over a decade, including performing economic supervision and control, financial consulting throughout the operation period, and even assisting and accompanying the state in significant Processes, including refinancing process, changes in tariff structures, and more.
The fast lane is the first project in Israel to manage demand for entry into the Gush Dan metropolitan area. The project includes a parking lot and a free shuttle system for those wishing to leave their cars behind and reach the metropolitan area via public transportation. Our company has been accompanying the project for over a decade, both in ongoing supervision and control, including financial and operational supervision, and in initiating and accompanying changes and additions to the project, including additional shuttle lines, doubling the parking lot, and more.
This mega-project expands Highway 6 by adding an additional lane along its central section and Section 18, from the Kesem Interchange to Ein Tut. The company has supported the project from its initiation, through the tender process, winner selection, financial closing, construction, and ongoing operation. Our work includes continuous oversight of the concessionaire, managing an operational and financial control team, monitoring the designated authority, tracking legal proceedings, and supervising change and improvement procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
A BOT project that includes planning, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of one of the innovative toll roads. We accompany the project from the initiation and financial closing stages, a construction period accompanied by an operating period in which we led the supervision and control team, to the current period in which we are responsible for ongoing supervision and control. We built an economic model, created risk distribution, defended a unique safety net mechanism that is compatible with the project, wrote all the financial documents and accompanied the review of the proposals and financial closing.
A BOT project in the field of renewable energy. Building a financial model, examining economic viability, building a risk matrix, commercial and banking support for the franchisee from the beginning of the tender process, through preparation and submission of the bid, to winning and supporting the financial closing process and then during the construction phase.
